Whats with all the Blink 182?

Hello pepps, i have finally updated my blog because of some nagging.
Anyway, i guess my friends, espically the ones who dont know me well, will ask, why does T-imsky like Blink 182 so much? Well, its easy to explain.

Back in 1997, i was watching Rage, and the film clip 'josie' came on, i laughed and laughed and laughed. The next week, i taped rage so i could watch it over and over. The following week, i bought the Josie single. It contained the josie, and 4 live tracks, i would laugh at all their jokes, and turnthe music up louder, knowing my mum hates them. This was the beginning.

A few years later, i had a $20 gift certificate for Target, and i saw the Mark, Tom and Travis Show selling for $23. It was a steal!!! A new cd costing $23 ( This is in 2000 by the way). I bought it. I couldnt afford to buy other cds at the time, coz my parents wouldnt give me the money, but i would hope. I listened to the cd, for i reckon, for about 2 years straight. It was the only thing i would listen to. (Im pathetic) It was truly, what i think, is a great CD. It had everything, songs (good songs), humor and pictures.

Before i go anyfurther, yes, i have a Blink-182 tattoo. Why? Two reasons, for remembering a band which changed my life. I have an apprication for music, for without them, i would of never developed. I went to my first rock concert, March 10th 2004. (Blink 182, Brand New and Gyroscope) and i can say, it was the best night of my life!!! Id waited seven years to see them, and i had a blast. I think about that night everyday (no joke) and i wish i could live it again! Secondly, Ive never been popular, always quiet, and the two who formed the band, were quiet and different from there friends, and they didnt give a FUCK they only had each other. They would hang out with each other, at school, after school and on the weekends. I know, they made me realise that i dont have to be popular to have fun. If i only have one friend in life, i will be grateful.

So, people can give me shit about liking Blink-182. But i couldnt care less. Its my life, and ill do what i want with it. I can relate to their music and theyve inspired me to create my own music as a passage for my emotions.
