...And that's how we got married

I'm back...I'm here to love and learn...From your fantastic adventures of success and failure. I don't know what I just said, but I just typed it out to go with the flow.

This entries band is, Brooke Fraser. She's amazing. Her first song on her 2004 album, is truly amazing. Its dominatly a piano/vocal song, including orchestral (SP?) instruments.

I've just come back from a weekend away to an annual event held on the Queens Birthday public holiday weekend, called State Youth Games. Its an event, where a whole bunch of churches congregate on Lardner Park, Warragul, sleep in literally freezing weather, play sport from 8am-5pm roughly, attend a church service from about 9-10.30 then enjoy activities such as, the disco (which was my fave), movie tent, band tent, massage tent and a cafe tent.

When I think about it, I dunno why I like it SO much (SYG being the highlight of my year)! You only get a few hours sleep, wake up at 7am to cold weather, you cant sleep because its so cold. You sleep in a tent. You have to wait to have a showers, by then all the hot waters gone. The days are long and tiring and you get woken up every damn morning to someone jumping on you and letting the cold air in!!!

But on the Monday, when I came home, I wished it was the previous Friday afternoon, the time when I arrived at Lardner Park so I could do it all over again. I guess I like it so much, because you are totally isolated from the outside world. For example, my phones battery died, and I had no idea what time it was for about 3 hours. I didn't know anything what was happening from outside of Warragul. Everyone is really friendly. And everyone else who attends, just wants to have a great time.

I went in with high hopes of returning back to Melbourne with a girls phone number...Which didn't happen. I saw one girl who I wanted to talk to some more...But I never saw her again until everyone was leaving the camp site. She attended TLC Church and wore number 8 in the basketball...If ANYONE knows who she is...Please pass on this link! hehe

On the Thursday night, I hung out with my Lumberjack friends. It was a good night, one LJ friend pussed out early so the other LJ friend and I hung the rest of the night. We heard some frecky bird call at 5 am...Sounded like a woman screaming...We locked the doors. It was the wierdest shit I've ever heard in my life. The following morning, I awoke to the sound of a lemon gun going off...That sucked. I then spent the morning watching my LJ friend try to get a motorbike started...Which he did. I was a passenger on the bike for a while, till surcomed to peer-pressure and rode the bike myself...Straight into a fucking powerpole!!! I mean, why is there a powerpole on the fucking property. It really sucked. And I felt like an idiot. It was one of the best days I've had all year...As a matter of fact one of the best days in a few years I think. There wasn't any pressure to do anything, just have fun.

Thanks for reading the blog again, whoever you guys maybe. Please leave a comment. Id love to hear your feedback. Is there any topics you want me to blog about? Potato in Jackets? Damper?

Peace out,

Timsky
